What You Need to Know About Our Rich Collagen Broth:
Just as many Chinese traditions, having steamboat for reunion sessions probably holds a deeper meaning for many Chinese families. Having steamboat symbolises the togetherness of every family. The interesting thing about having a steamboat dinner would be how everyone surrounds that one pot of goodness – the soup.
But wait… preparing the soup alone takes up so much time. Just to boil a traditional clear soup base for a steamboat will take about 1.5hours, not to mention the preparation of what goes into the soup. Even if you don’t have to spend time cooking the ingredients (since they are all raw), cooking a flavourful and hearty soup is so time consuming.
Here at Li’l Chef, we take care of the soup preparation for you. Our rich collagen broth is boiled for 6 hours with pork and chicken bones together with sweet vegetables to give you the additional richness and sweetness in our soup. Made with all natural ingredients, the soup can be used as a base in your steamboat.
All you have to do is to add 500g of water and bring it to a boil. Caution – Do resist the urge to finish drinking the soup before the steamboat starts!
Once boiled, you can add additional ingredients into the soup. If one pack of soup is not enough, do add another pack. We recommend 1 pack for every 1-2 person.
